Black Nag–Dance

New Dancing Videos! This was the first dance we’ve been able to attend since the new year and it was great to see everyone again and do some dancin’.

One of my favorite dances because I really enjoy it when the music and dancing is tied together.

Dance called by Jeremy Suermann. Filmed on February 24, 2012.

Oh Yay I love this dance! =D I have really been enjoying the new dances we have been learning... especaily the Rag! I think I like that one ALMOST as much as Hulls victory even!
You do such a good job on these videos; thank you for posting them!

Thanks for your comment Meghan!
It has been fun learning the new dances and I'll be posting videos of them throughout the week. Thanks to my little handheld camera there will be a walk through by a demonstration set at the beginning.

Oh, I love this dance too, it's so fun. ^_^
BTW,..which dance is your favorite, Andrew??

My favorite dance is probably both Hull's Victory and Black Nag.
Runner ups are The Rag, the Scottish, Duke of Kent's Waltz and Jefferson and Liberty.
I also like Martha Quadrille a lot, but it's probably been 8 months since I've done it.
What's your favorite dance (or in my case, dance-s?)

Oh, haha...Let me see, I definitely have favorite "dances"
(I think I'll's easier.)
My favorite slow dances are the Duke of Kentz Waltz and Mr. Beverages Maggot.

And my favorite fast dances, would be Hulls Victory, Scottish, Virginia Reel, Black Nag.

My favorite Mixer is the Circassian Circle.

And my favorite new dances are, The Rag, I really enjoyed the dance we did, that you followed your corner in a figure 8 around the other two. And then there was, a half pluset, hole in the wall crossing, and rights and lefts in it. But I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. =)

And those are my top favorites in categories. =) LOL. I don't think I could ever just pick one.

I think I found the dance you're thinking of with the "pluset." We did Gotham Jubilee the other night and I'll be posting it this evening.

YES...That's what it was. Now that you said the name of it, I remember. Haha. That would be so cool if you could post it. =) Did you get to dance that one????

I'll be posting the Gotham Jubilee in a few minutes.
Yes, I danced that it the other night...actually I think in the year that we've been dancing I've only missed one or two dances.
